Alpaca & Deer Mix

ALPACA & DEER MIXES are a formulated blend designed to keep Endophyte and Endophyte associated problems down to a minimum. Containing a selection of palatable high protein varieties, this mix will help your Valuable stock is get the best nutrition and texture with out the side affects.These mixes provide excellent feed for under Dry grown and Irrigated situations. It contains a high percentage of larger, tougher and deep rooted grasses and along with good pasture management will provide the strong sward, perfect for grazing or holding yards.

ALPACA & DEER MIX (Dry Grown) is Best suited to a rainfall above 500mm or 20 inches this mix will perform in medium to heavy soils with a ph range that is neutral – acidic. Best results are always achieved with annual Fertilizing and top dressing around autumn. This mix should be planted as close to the break of the season as possible to ensure the maximum amount of moisture is available throughout the season for the plants to mature and establish. Sow rate is 10 – 12 kg per acre or 25 – 30 kg per hectare.

ALPACA & DEER MIX (Irrigated) The all year round performer, this mix has a balanced blend of both winter and summer active varieties, to ensure that your pasture is productive during all 4 seasons. Best suited to similar soil range as the dry grown, it is important that this mix be managed effective and used under a full irrigation system with a Fertilizing program to ensure it’s persistence. Sow rate is 15 – 18 kg per acre or 38 – 45 kg per hectare.
