Fencing Field Day
Langseeds Rural held its first fencing field day on Saturday the 20th November. Approximately 20 people attended and learnedthe basics of rural fencing. Darren Schubert from Rural Fencing showed the crowd how his tractor knocks in posts and then put together a H box. Darren was very helpful in showing every
one how to use the gripple tool to strain and repair wire. Darren also showed us how to put up stock fencing and the basic set up for electric fence systems. Overall everyone seemed happy with the knowledge they learned from the short few hours. Keep an eye out on this webpage for future field days for fencing and pasture.
